Our fundraising programs include both Event Based Fund Raising and No Cost Fundraising.

Event Based

Gator Walk-a-thon

The Gator Walk-a-thon takes place in the fall each year.  After collecting donations, in the form of pledges, the kids will show their school spirit by wearing their free Gator Walk-a-Thon t-shirts and walk around the playground and surrounding Abbott areas.  Parents/families (no pets please) will walk with their children. Extended family, friends and neighbors are encouraged to come and cheer the students from the sideline!

No Cost Fundraising

Help support Grace Abbott through our convenient, no cost fundraisers!  The PTO raises funds to support our students, staff and school as well as to provide a variety of educational and enrichment programs. Look for Box Tops on hundreds of products in almost every aisle of the store – each Box Top is work 10¢ for our school.  Just clip them and send them to school!  (Note, we run Box Top competitions a couple times throughout the year!)  Don’t forget to ask family and friends for their box tops!

AmazonSmile

AmazonSmile is a website operated by Amazon that lets customers enjoy the same wide selection of products, low prices, and convenient shopping features as on Amazon.com. The difference is that when customers shop on AmazonSmile (smile.amazon.com), the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the price of eligible purchases to the charitable organizations selected by customers. Bakers:

Designate your Baker’s Plus card for Bakers Community Rewards and incentive money will go to Grace Abbott’s PTO.

Hy-Vee Cash for Students:

Save your Hy-Vee receipts from any Omaha / Papillion Hy-Vee store from September 1st through December 31st. Gas receipts, diner, coffee shop and pharmacy are accepted. Hy-Vee will donate $1 for every $200 spent during this time period to our school.  Send your receipts to school. If you receive your receipts via email you can now forward them to cash4abbott@gmail.com.

Don’t forget to ask family and friends for their receipts!
